What People Have Said About Us

I recently attended Richard’s workshop on Ice-breakers, Creative Games and Energisers. I found this course to be excellent. I work in adult education and already use many ice-breakers. All the icebreakers that Richard showed us were completely new to me and I will definitely be using them in my next training. I am delighted to have come away from the training with many new ideas and useful tips. Richard has a very positive, calm, and clear facilitation approach. I really enjoyed the course and would definitely recommend it.

I found the facilitation very good, especially since he doesn't have a background in fertility issues. It can be difficult/emotional material to sift through, and overall, I think he was able to move us through pretty well and with sensitivity. He did a great job!

National Infertility Information and Support Group (NISIG) Member

"Richard uses a great variety of participative methods to get groups working together in a cohesive way. He is particularly good at breaking concepts down so they are accessible and easily digestible. Participants in group sessions will have an equal voice and get a chance to contribute to discussions and solutions".

Edwina Dewart, Manager, Dublin City Volunteer Centre

“What we liked about Richards facilitation style was his approach to never assume that participants are on the same page. The pre-session preparation was particularly useful to get the most from the morning, incorporating all the considerations from looking for an outcome pathway to setting up the room. Richard’s session was dynamic but practical so that everyone was able to contribute and have their voice heard... sincere thanks. ”

Michelle Hannon, Manager, Terenure Enterprise Centre

"We hired Richard to facilitate us when doing up our Strategic Plan. He was great, has the right mix of creative and practical. He was flexible, patient but results focused. I would highly recommend him".

Ciaran Murray, Community Media Co-ordinator at Near Media Co-op

"I worked with Richard on the Feet on the Street Youth project. What I remember most was his ability to facilitate the group to work through a planning and implementation process together, to what at the time was a new and challenging concept, with people of mixed experience. It was for me also the first time I saw evaluation processes brought into a community context".

Lorraine McHugh, Centre Manager, CLAY Youth Project

"I have found Richard, with his attention to detail and his concise knowledge around policy and funding, to be instrumental in keeping the project focused on achieving its strategic objectives. Richard's considerable experience within the community sector together with his can-do attitude, has proven to be a great source of support to me, in this my first year on the job. On a personal level, having developed a strong working relationship with Richard, I feel his input has no doubt helped to drive me on as a professional Community Worker, towards effectively achieving the aims set out by the organisation".

John Kelly, Development Worker, Disability Mainstream Access Project

"In all my dealings with Richard I have found him to be very objective orientated and easy to deal with. Richard is an effective communicator which I have witnessed both on a one to one basis and in group facilitation's he has done".

Brian Murphy, Manager, St John Bosco Community and Youth Centre

"Richard has organised some great networking events which I have attended many times".

Ger Devereaux, Local Training Initiative Co-ordinator, St John Bosco Community and Youth Centre

"Richard provided training on two photography courses for us at the Local Development Partnership. He works well with any group of people and has a simple way of explaining complex tasks. He has patience beyond patience and I found him very humorous at appropriate times, which really helped those who were nervous. I've known Richard for nearly five years to date and would have no hesitation in recommending him for any training, facilitation or community development related project".
